“It is such an unexpected honor to be recognized in this manner and to be mentioned along with so many prestigious organizations” says Goldberg who founded the company in 2004 while at the tale end of a year long surf trip with college friend Haigwood.

Winners will be announced on June 9th in San Diego.
Cali Bamboo’s founders are also finalists for two more awards through the San Diego Chamber of Commerce: "Outstanding Emerging Business of the Year" Award as well as "Most Innovative Product or Marketing" Award. Winners will be announced May 28.
