How 1% Makes a Big Difference

Cali Bamboo is a green company in more ways than one. Not only are our products sustainable, but we are also big believers in giving back to the planet that has given us so much. That’s why we are proud participants in the 1% for the Planet program. Through this worldwide program, Cali Bamboo, along with over 1,200 other companies, pledges 1% of our total annual revenue to help environmental groups make a difference in the future of our planet.
Last year through the 1% for the Planet program, Cali Bamboo donated over $25,000 to Surfrider Foundation, in addition to significant donations to San Diego Coastkeeper and several other nonprofits. These funds are used to spread conservation awareness, train volunteers and hold events like beach clean-ups and water quality monitoring sessions. Cali Bamboo was founded upon the principle that environmental conservation and sustainable practices are fundamental to the sustainability of business. When you purchase green bamboo products through us you can be sure your money is helping to support a greater purpose — one which improves quality of life across the globe.
What can you do? Become a 1% member or buy from and support these fellow 1% for the Planet contributors:
