Alex S. BYU, UT
As a student at Brigham Young University, Alex won second place in a national design competition for his bamboo composite bridge. He and his friends Steve and Roger got the idea after researching various natural plant fibers and discovering how incredibly strong re-engineered bamboo strips are. He plans on spending his winnings on more bamboo for new designs and hopes to develop the green building materials of tomorrow. Cali Bamboo supports you Alex!
