Tools Needed

The only tool required to install against a chain link is a nice set of pliers. You will also need to purchase some 14 or 16 gauge galvanized steel tie wire from your local hardware store.

Putting up one of our bamboo fences is simple. It is no different than any other kind of fence installation. It simply requires posts and rails to support the panels. Typically, 4x4 wood posts and 2x4 horizontal rails are used. For the posts, dig holes about 18 inches deep and spaced 8 feet apart. You will want to concrete the 4x4s vertically in the ground. Next fasten two rows of 2x4s horizontally to the 4x4 posts using screws or nails. One horizontal support should be about 6 inches from the ground and one about 6 inches from the top of the fence.

To fasten the bamboo panel to the supports system follow the next set of instructions below:

This is really easy:

1) First straighten out any kinks or humps in your chain link fence in order to get a flat fence.

2) Attach your Cali Bamboo panels by simply rolling out the panel flush against the fence. Snip your tie wire into 6 inch pieces.

3) Slip the tie wire around the cane and twist it around the chain link until snug. Cut off the remains if you like. Do this at the top and bottom until the bamboo is secure. That's it!!
