Nine years of growth at breakneck speeds — that’s how you could sum up recent history at Cali Bamboo. That race to new heights was recently illustrated by the company’s ninth year on the San Diego Business Journal’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies List. In the Journal’s words, the annual list honors “organizations whose aspirations have taken them to a level of success that has put them in regional, national and global spotlights.” Cali Bamboo placed 49th among the 100 honorees.
2017 saw the company top $100 million in revenue for the first time — a mark it expects to significantly surpass in 2018. 2018 will also see Cali mark its tenth consecutive year on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List. This remarkable growth is due in part to Cali Bamboo’s success at manufacturing and marketing a sustainable product that in many ways outperforms its wood competition. Through this effort, customers need not compromise on strength, durability, quality, or beauty when choosing to build with environmental conservation in mind.
Cali Bamboo’s commitment to providing and promoting a green product has further benefit to the company in that the team itself feels part of a greater purpose beyond profits alone. This company-wide focus on bringing renewability to the mainstream has proven to be a great draw in attracting and maintaining dedicated talent, and keeps employees satisfied in knowing their hard work is beneficial to the planet and future generations.
