Green Shoots Blog
The possibilities are endless, but because you only have so much floor space, we’ve boiled it down to 4 design types with some waterproof Cali Vinyl® Pro options to match.
Classic Chocolates
Deep, rich, comforting browns bring a sense of coziness to your space. Pair with white accents to keep rooms looking open and play up the texture of these traditional wood grains.
Modern Grays
The right gray can bring a serious wow-factor to your space. Cooler shades will make other colors pop (especially crimsons, jewel tones, and gold) while warmer “greiges” go great with greens and blues.
Vintage Barnwoods
For a floor with perfectly imperfect character, opt for a reclaimed look with plenty of knots and a lively grain. Amplified texture with a neutral color palette brings intrigue to your space and works with any style.

What’s your closest match?
Hi Jacqueline,
Maybe one of the following?
Saddlewood
Deep Sea Eucalyptus
Classic Acacia
Do you have any suggestions on options for vinyl plank floors that would be adjacent to saltillo (Mexican terra cotta) tile floors with dark grey grout ? I don’t like the grey looks or too light. I am leaning towards maybe something in the chocolate family or a mid-tone brown but not sure. I did just order several samples to see how they look. Thank you!
Hi Patricia, check out our full vinyl collection here. We have lots of mid-tone brown colors that you may like! “Saddlewood” may be a good one for you!
I am looking for white vinyl plank flooring. What do you have?
Hi Clay,
We actually have a pure white floor under development, but for now these are the whitest ones we have:
Afterglow Oak
Bayside View
Castaway Oak
White Aspen
Of the light, white floors which has the least amount of grey? What are the undertones in Afterglow, Bayside, Castaway, and White Aspen? Thanks!
Hi Kathleen, after looking at the photos, I’d have to say Afterglow Oak has the least. However, I highly encourage you to order some samples in each of those colors so you can see firsthand. They are free as long as you use the code “FREESAMPLE” let us know if you have any other questions 🙂
