What if we told you it was possible to completely renovate a living room, bedroom, dining room, or backyard in just a day? That’s the premise of the TV show Fix It and Finish It starring designer and DIY expert Antonio Sabato, Jr. In each episode, Antonio has less than twelve hours to tackle a much-needed design challenge, surprising homeowners with a space of their dreams!
In this week’s Fix It and Finish It episode, Antonio transforms a young couple’s muddy backyard into a colorful, green paradise! I want a bamboo fence but need it to be private as it will be enclosing a outdoor shower. I am concerned that the bamboo has openings and our homes are very close together. Do you have a solution?
Hi John, yeah I can see how that would be a concern. We’ve always recommended doubling up the fencing and offsetting the poles just a little so they interlock. Stick with the 3/4″ or 1″ diameters as those gaps are much smaller. Here’s a photo.
