1st Place Winner – Natasha’s backyard is hardly recognizable after installing bamboo fencing over the existing patchwork of broken wood fencing! “Our house is in a densely populated area of Oakland with very little outdoor space available and where yards are mostly paved over. I think bamboo fencing helps to soften the landscape,” says Natasha, who is excited to spend more time playing in the backyard with her 2-year-old.

2nd Place Winner – Amanda and Tim were drawn to Twilight Greenclaimed® cork flooring for the kitchen of their Columbia, MD home while searching for a floor that’s not only comfortable enough to stand on for long periods of time, but also eco-friendly and durable. “We love it!! It’s so warm and soft, it looks great and was a breeze to cut and install,” says Tim, who does everything he can to live green.

3rd Place Winner – Felicitas updated this adorable beach bungalow in Fort Lauderdale with Slate BamDeck 3G Wide composite decking, giving a modern feel to the classic 1960’s architecture. “The main reason I chose BamDeck was because it doesn’t have the tacky fake woodgrain texture that most other companies have. I love materials that are ‘honest’ in their appearance,” says Felicitas.
