Cali Bamboo is a proud sponsor of Surfrider San Diego’s 24th annual Paddle for Clean Water! The event takes place this Sunday, September 27th at the Ocean Beach Pier in San Diego. If you live in San Diego but haven’t been to this event yet, you’re missing out. It’s totally free, super fun, and benefits Surfrider’s mission of protecting our oceans, waves, and beaches! The event kicks off with yoga on the beach at 8:30am, free bagels for all participants, a raffle with awesome prizes, and keynote speakers addressing how climate change affects our coast. The paddle itself commences at 10am, when hundreds of people paddle around the pier to raise awareness for clean water and healthy coastlines (Fun Fact: did you know the Ocean Beach pier is the longest pier in San Diego county??). After the paddle there will be live music on the beach from Todo Mundo, and an after party at Wonderland Pub. Did we mention free bagels?
