Cali Bamboo Co-Founder and Executive VP, Tanner Haigwood, has won 2nd Place in the 2017 Sales & Marketing Leader Awards, hosted by TurningPoint Executive Search. The San Diego regional award recognizes individuals who demonstrate special ability in directing teams to success.
Tanner (along with founder and CEO, Jeff Goldberg) founded Cali Bamboo in 2004 with $50,000 in capital and a single product (bamboo fencing), and has since kept the company on a strong upward trajectory with exponential growth year after year.
A longtime surfer and environmentalist, Tanner is 100% dedicated to making the world a better, healthier, greener place for future generations. In everything he does, he embodies Cali Bamboo’s spirit and mission, and he directs his teams to serve that purpose by expanding the company’s influence in the industry.
A background in sales and construction, a diehard commitment to the environment, and an innate competitive spirit fosters Tanner’s drive to innovate and push the envelope in the realm of green building. That appetite fuels his ability to guide the development of new products and procedures that enhance the Cali Bamboo product offering and overall customer experience.
Tanner’s colleagues describe him as a “visionary” who “wants everyone to apply their own brand of ‘rogue’ to their work.” He is driven, enthusiastic, and innovative in all that he does. Not one to stay within the lines, he is most energized when pushing boundaries, rethinking tradition, and getting there ahead of the rest.
