Cork Wall Tile Installation (Discontinued)

Imagine being able to bring the natural textures of the forest to your interior design. Cali Bamboo is proud to introduce Designer Cork Tiles easy to apply wall panels layered with the natural raw bark of the cork oak tree. And because cork bark can be harvested and regrown without harming the tree, Designer Cork Tiles are completely renewable. Tiles come in three different styles Tundra, Sierra and Meadow, and are perfect for homes and commercial spaces alike. Panels are temperature insulating and acoustic dampening, making them great for home theaters. Designer Cork Tiles are also very easy to install. Simply apply the adhesive and press directly to the wall. Designer Cork represents the first product line of Cali Bamboo’s new GreenClaimed® brand. GreenClaimed features sustainably harvested natural resources that have been rethought, revived and reclaimed for one of a kind building and design products.

Installation Notes:
Designer Cork Tiles are very easy to install, and be can be done with just a few simple tools. Before you begin, the cork wall tiles must be acclimated for 72 hours by opening the boxes up in a well-ventilated area, and allowing the tiles to adjust to the room’s temperature and humidity levels. Maintain a temperature range of 65 F to 82F and relative humidity range of 35% to 65% to avoid product expansion and contraction.
The wall surface must be cleaned and free of dust and moisture.

Plan your tile placement prior to installation and have all pieces ready to install. We recommend using a level and marking the wall with a pencil to ensure rows are straight and level.

Simply apply Titebond® Wood Flooring Tape, or a construction grade adhesive directly to the back of the tiles to ensure secure installation. Once adhesive is in place, press and hold the tile to the wall for at least a minute.
